EXCITED enthusiasts turned flowers into an imaginative modern design at a fun-filled workshop, led by top demonstrator and florist Dawn Weaver.
Amid lots of laughter, 16 women were amazed to discover they had hidden talents.
French Josette Dorce, aged 79, visiting her daughter, Domi in Milton Road, Widnes, joined the class at the John Dalton Centre in Mayfield Avenue.
She said: “It’s the first time I’ve ever tried this.
“I felt really happy and years younger.”
Lorraine Simpson, aged 36, of Latham Avenue, Runcorn, said: “I thoroughly enjoyed it.
“There was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. It’s inspired me to have a go on my own.”
Everyone was delighted to bring their design, worth £30, home.
The sessions were run by Widnes Floral Art Group, thanks to a Bright Ideas grant from Halton and St Helens Primary Care Trust.
Flower arranging gave the women the chance to relax and chill out.
